Local Area Network is what organization had implemented on their organization’s computer. The reasons for this is about sharing and easy to monitor their staff activities on the internet as well. Among other are to save cost and shared facilities among the staff. In example are, scanner, printer, document and etc. The beauty of this is that it could save time, money, resources and for employer it would be the monitoring aspect. And lets not get caught doing something unethical on the internet using office’s computer.

So let me give you a scenario on which you are new to an organization. It would be kinda hard for you to know on which facilities and file is given access to shared and plus if you are not literate in Information Technology as i am, i would suggest you to use this free software that  i am currently using.

In my last entry (monitoring your network), i did say that the software can scan and detect data  like RAM, upload speed, data transfered, and a whole lot more. This software works the same way. Instead of detecting data as in the example, this free download software can exactly detect files and folders, disks, printers and etc that is open for sharing.
