Detecting Dead Links On Your Bookmarking
As i love to bookmark importants web or blogs for my future reference. It is also important for me to know whether the link still existed or not. We all know that information from the internet are free except for the electricity bills and internet. It sure is better rather than going to the library looking for information. hahaha. Although there are a lot of good books in the library. But with the existence of the internet, an online library consists of information from all around the world are stored on this world wide web.
So with that in my mind, i would search using google.com and look for information related to what i want. Some of it involve in my line of work as well. So once i found and read it, i would bookmark in on my internet browser. This is for my future reference as well. In the end, i know that i end up with lots and lots of url.
AM-DeadLink is a freeware that could detect dead links or might be duplicate link on your browser bookmark. Sometimes when you do have a lot of bookmark, you tend to forget and maybe sometimes add the same one on your browser. This could make you confused while searching through your bookmark.
Furthermore, certain web or blog tend to expired or being closed down. It all due to the webmaster unable to maintain it or maybe because for some bigger reasons. The main point here is that the url does not work anymore and yet you have it on your url. So with this software, you certainly are going to be able to detect all the dead link and organize you bookmark with the good one.
This free software could also check the following
- Internet Explorer Favorites
- Firefox bookmarks

Have you checked out Archivd? Even better than detecting dead links, it saves a complete copy of every web page you bookmark on its servers, so even if a site is taken down, you still have a copy of it forever. Try it sometime!!
