Hovering Your Network IP
IP is the abbreviation for Internet Protocol. IP is usually related to the internet or networking. Wikipedia has a very good and detail definition of what IP is. Below are the definition from wikipedia
IP is the primary protocol in the Internet Layer of the Internet Protocol Suite and has the task of delivering distinguished protocol datagrams (packets) from the source host to the destination host solely based on their addresses. For this purpose the Internet Protocol defines addressing methods and structures for datagram encapsulation. The first major version of addressing structure, now referred to as Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) is still the dominant protocol of the Internet, although the successor, Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) is being actively deployed worldwide.
And so understanding the definition of Ip would really help you a lot especially if you have a lot of jobs to do in the internet especially a webmaster, web designer or a web developer. Well this free software could really do something for you perhaps.
HoverIP v1.0 is still in beta mode as of today and maybe in the future they will release the full version of the software. What this free download software can do is that you can display you IP configuration (on all networks cards). So most probably, you’ll know IP on any servers that host a web. All you need to do is just type in the domain name and let the software do the talking for you.
Apart from that, this free network monitoring software can also a whole number of things. Example are NSLOOKUP, PING, TRACEROUTE, SCAN PORTS or network, and manage your ROUTES. It is very convenient to use and user-friendly.
The only problem with this software is that it does not work with Windows 95. Apart from that, there are no other issues regarding this software.
